We would like to invite you to send us your poetry on the subject of exploration and adventure. It could be celebrating the exploits of explorers from the past or speculating about what there is left to discover in the future, maybe in the furthest reaches of space or in the deepest depths of our oceans. Or perhaps a subject closer to home; an adventure you’ve had or dream of having, or even the adventure that is your life. Whatever your ideas about exploration, send us your poem on the subject.

Rules

Open to all / one entry to each theme per person / no line limit (within reason!) / free to enter / no restrictions on poetic style or form / include your name and postal address (and your age if under 18).

How to Enter

Online: you can upload your entry directly to us using our online upload page. Remember to fill in all fields.

Email: you can email your poem to inbox@forwardpoetry.co.uk including your name and address.
Make sure you include which theme you’re entering in the subject line.

Post: Write your poem on a sheet of paper, along with your name and address and mail it to:
