The Bounty of Love

At first we were two, until we became one,
Whence twin souls joined together entwined in love,

For love is like a rose… as the sun is to the dawn,
Since it grows fervently vibrant and ever blossoms intense,
Though life no longer exists within my own vexatious world,
As I'm in a fantasy of life, just like living in a dream,
Yet together with tenacity we can conquer what's unforeseen,
           
For love is so warm… yet its bounty so strong,
Love is so patient… but their passions like a song,
As love is tenderness… yet with loyalty of bonds,
And love is courage… with the will to fight on,

Since your love has taught me one thing never to forget,
No matter how hard, no matter how long,
Never give up, never give in, just separate the calm,
From within the turmoil of the life's strife, 
As by living the 'Now'
Means to withstand what otherwise would be lost,

What's true in our minds, is but the truth of pure light,
For I know you love me,
As much as I love thee, beyond my dying grace,
Thus the love within our hearts shall always stay embraced,
As sometimes when we lose… 'We win'
For that's the bounty of love…
