I was born and raised in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. I've moved and schooled between Rushden, Northants and back to Harrogate before finally settling in Norfolk. A celebrated academic underachiever, I now estimate commercial glazing contracts for a double glazing company in Norwich.
I have two beautiful children: Harvey and Matilda and a wonderful and patient wife Bonita.
I flirted with rugby as a beautiful youth, reaching regional and semi professional standard before crocking myself in an ill-advised attempt at spear tackling a veritable man mountain. I tend towards the gentler pursuits nowadays: badminton and table tennis though I do occasionally don my boots for five-a-side and pride myself on having a foot like a traction engine.
Aside from the active pursuits I enjoy crosswords and chess and read extensively. I occasionally turn my hand to writing but am cursed with appalling self-motivational skills so have yet to produce anything more extensive than short verse poetry. I tend to turn to poetry when I am feeling low or just introspective, as you'll no doubt recognise from the tone; nevertheless I hope you enjoy it.
