The latter months of the year are a time for religious festivals, feasting, exchanging gifts with family and friends or even getting away from the cold and chaos by jetting off to warmer climes. However you celebrate and whatever you get up to in the winter months, let us know by sending us a poem on the subject.

Rules

Open to all / one entry to each theme per person / no line limit (within reason!) / free to enter / no restrictions on poetic style or form / include your name and postal address (and your age if under 18).

How to Enter

Online: you can upload your entry directly to us using our online upload page. Remember to fill in all fields.

Email: you can email your poem to inbox@forwardpoetry.co.uk including your name and address.
Make sure you include which theme you’re entering in the subject line.

Post: Write your poem on a sheet of paper, along with your name and address and mail it to:
