James Muirden's book is a great read. A fun and informative way to digest key facts about famous Britons. Use of various rhyme structures and stanza forms keeps the book interesting and of course it covers all our favourite people from literary figures such as Austen, Burns, Chaucer, Shakespeare and Christie to Captain James Cook, Darwin, Florence Nightingale and Stephen Hawking. It's a charming collection that poetry-lovers as well as those interested in history will enjoy browsing through.
