Just a tiny pebble that the sea left on the shore but
there are so many colours ensnared inside of her.
You can hold it like a mirror, faced towards the coming tide
and the colours burst like rainbows, tiny jewels, polished ripples that collide
with every wave that’s riding towards the golden sand.
Just a tiny pebble that I’m holding in my hand.
Just a tiny buttercup where the brook becomes a stream.
A golden yellow nosegay shines upon my face.
You can find them with the daisies, weaving dreams in fairy chains.
Intertwined together, silver pearls, tiny flowers, enchanting eyes that walk the lanes.
A life renewed in summer with sun and breezes fanned.
Just a tiny buttercup that I’m holding in my hand.
There’s so much wonder all around us that we'd like to understand…so
just take one of nature's treasures and hold it in your hand!
