Who am I?
Intricately woven, my silken fibre web is a citadel, my refuge, somewhere I can hide and dream.
The rafters of my palatial home are crisscrossed with robust lace.
Here I have created my own haven, my nest, and my own special place.
Where anything is possible but nothing here is, as it seems!
Who am I?
When I look into this welcoming abode, I feel some fear, a dread and unexplained anxiety.
The cord is sticking to me and it aims to capture all of me!
Here she has created my tomb, a mausoleum from which I can’t break free.
How can her welcome be so deceitful? Such terror from such beauty?
