With key in hand he

opened the door.

In the couple stepped.

"This is the living room come bedroom,

as you'll notice it has

a  built in wardrobe."

They looked around them

"Where is the kitchen?"

asked the woman.

"Right this way."

Down the narrow hall and up

a steep set of

stairs they went.

"This is the kitchen,

as you'll see it has

a gas cooker,

new work surface."

He opened the cupboard door

it fell off in his hand.

Quickly he placed it down.

"This room next door is the bathroom".

They went into the

tiny room

with a horrible green

coloured suite.

"Places like this don't come up for sale that

often and such value for money".

He turned around to find

the couple had gone.

"Was it something I said".

he muttered.
